What are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Director to push the boundaries of our Technology Applications. At Mogrify, you will:

  • Head up an experienced team to enable rapid product development and precise payload delivery as well as laying the foundation for efficient and scalable manufacturing.
  • Includes areas such as AAV engineering, promoters and regulatory elements, delivery methodologies, disease models and manufacturing aspects, also by integrating our strong informatics and data science capabilities; technologies will originate in-house, as well as licensed technologies and sponsored research projects.
  • Initiate, and execute a variety of studies, including those conducted at CROs and identify new ways of working or improving current processes
  • Focus on translating early ideas and POC studies to robust methods in the disease/project context by applying these technologies effectively to current R&D projects.
  • Identify cutting-edge technologies to be brought into Mogrify to address current project priorities in collaboration with platform teams and business development.
  • Work in an exciting, highly collaborative environment with disease projects and platform technology team.

Candidate profile:

  • PhD graduate in Biochemistry, Cell Biology or Molecular Biology or related field, with over 10 years of follow-on experience (or equivalent experience). Experience in gene therapy and in vivo delivery is highly valued.
  • Well-grounded in science, with a strong interest in platforms/technologies and therapeutic applications.
  • Proven scientific leader with an interest in translating early technology ideas to robust methods for disease projects.
  • Strong ability to work across functions.
  • Experience managing teams in the lab conducting both molecular and cellular workflows.
  • Team player, self-motivated with positive thinking and a “can-do” attitude.
