Founded in 2002, the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) is the leading professional organization of stem cell scientists.
With more than 3,500 attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and media, the ISSCR Annual Meeting brings together leaders in stem cell science and regenerative medicine from across the world to connect, collaborate, and discuss the latest advances in the field, new data, and the year’s most compelling breakthroughs.
The ISSCR 2021 Annual Meeting program was conceptualized around five themes to help facilitate community building within the broader field of stem cell research. Each of the five themes will be explored during four concurrent sessions and a plenary session. The themes include: Clinical Applications, Cellular Identity, Modeling Development & Disease, New Technologies, and Tissue Stem Cell & Regeneration.
Mogrify® has developed a proprietary suite of platform technologies that utilize a systematic big-data approach to direct cellular conversion (Rackham et al., Nature Genetics, 2016) and the maintenance of cell identity (Kamaraj et al., Cell Systems 2020). The platforms can be used to enhance existing stem-cell forward reprogramming methods or can bypass development pathways altogether, affecting a direct transdifferentiation between a mature cell type to another mature cell type.
